A long way past the past - Foxfur - November 11, 2021

The scent of wolves had grown stronger as he had journeyed south, though the warrior was not certain if he was following a particular path or if he had merely carved it for himself and stuck to it out of spite. The children who had gone missing from Moonglow were important and he had not wasted time in venturing out to find them. Foxfur merely had not found any signs of their departure from the spine. It had left him feeling uneasy and useless.

Pausing in the meadow, the warrior sniffed gently at a few rainsoaked flowers that were wilting from the cool touch of autumn’s breath. There would be little time before winter had covered those lands in a blanket of white and chilled everything. Foxfur wondered if he had made the right decision to remain with Moonglow until the spring, or if Kukutux had simply won him over.
