reach for my hand, - Metis - April 14, 2022 Only for siblings/family atm!! Metis and siblings haven’t been formally introduced to the pack, she’s just being naughty and having a jailbreak
Sight was a strange thing to a child. Even stranger was when her little limbs managed to garner strength in them, and she was suddenly catapulting herself between her brothers like a rogue ball on a ping pong table. Little Metis, with her pug like about that was slowly peeking more and more from her features, her heady little eyes, was quickly becoming acquainted with the world through sheer force of will…and biting. She found out a lot of things by biting. Like dirt. She had managed to speed walk outside this fine morning, and tipped over immediately to eat a chunk of soil with all the audacity of a small child who knew no better, only to immediately shriek when she found it to not be of her liking. Blasphemy. Bullshit. The worst. Get it out, now. RE: reach for my hand, - Astraios - April 14, 2022 Vorilye had been napping near the whelping den when he heard the sudden cry of the child. His eyes snapped open at once, and he got to his paws, lumbering towards her awkwardly — his side hurt like hell still, but at least it was healing. "And where do you think you're going?" he rumbled softly, gently scruffing her and sitting her back upright. A moment passed, then he reached carefully to clean a bit of dirt from her nose. Metis... his daughter. It was... strange. He was still getting used to it.
RE: reach for my hand, - Metis - April 14, 2022 An adult was quick to correct her most of the time. The only reason Themis had not done so herself was the grey matriarch was currently asleep in the den behind her and hadn’t awoken fast enough to catch the little menace before she absconded into the great beyond. Metis whipped around in offense at being scruffed, her little jaws held wide as gurgling baby noises left the gaping maw. After a while of displeased grumbling from the child, she went to latch on to Vorilye’s nose clumsily, not that she had much in the way of teeth to make it hurt, but she knew displeasure when she felt it. RE: reach for my hand, - Astraios - April 14, 2022 The Cruor man was quite out of his element, especially as she grabbed onto his nose. He then dropped her, giving her a deep frown that tugged at his scars. "Come now, child, I can't have you wandering off." He looked back to her den — he supposed she must be very bored, he knew he would be. Then, Vorilye gave a soft sigh, wondering how on earth he was supposed to entertain her. He settled on his belly in front of her, eyeing her close.
RE: reach for my hand, - Melaneus - April 16, 2022 Tiny cameo! Feel free to skip <3
The child had extracted himself from between his brothers to follow Metis out of the whelping den, but he was no fire. He had not barraged forward, nor fallen headlong into the dirt. He rather chose to remain in the shadows, newfound eyes blinking out of the darkness to watch what would unfold. RE: reach for my hand, - Lycabas - April 22, 2022 just a cameo! don't mind me <3
For all intents and purposes, Lycabas was still blind. Though difficult to tell, it would be a peculiar observation for his parents to note that he only seemed to open his eyes in the dead of night. At times his eyes would creak open during the day, but they would always quickly close again. The rotund infant had found that he did not particularly care for the harshness of daylight. So naturally, his schedule seemed to be the opposite of his siblings, who stirred more and more during the day, while he only became active at night. So even as two out of three of his bunkmates absconded to the fringes of the den, Lycabas remained fast asleep and firmly pressed against Themis' side, his face buried away from the shafts of dawn streaming into the den. |
