As much as he wanted to rush to his and Aquene's den now that he had finally reached the canyon, he needed to speak with the imperator first. He would update him on the vale, and then he would go see his wife.
The sun had set hours ago, but the moon provided plenty of light as the epochian made his way further inside the territory. He wasn't sure if @Germanicus had returned to his own den already, so he started to head that way; it would put him closer to Aquene anyway.
