Each day, a bit bolder, a bit more confidence.
He was less and less around the woods that the hunter claimed. She would be mother again. Makan did not know what to do with this and it stirred something uncomfortable in him.
He dreamt of companionship more often, of something more meaningful. Alas he was still...feral. He was aware he was not as refined as most. His speech a jagged pattern of descriptions more than flowing thought. He was not especially skilled at much of anything besides roaming and lurking.
It was what he did here, through the copse. Meandering after an unknown scent.
