Joining Thread - Ranger - October 09, 2014 Ranger had been walking for many miles, the pads on her paws were beginning to rub raw. "How much Longer"[/b] She thought to herself. She had began to go into unfamiliar territory, she was quiet and careful with her steps, she sniffed the air, she smelled other wolves, "Probably A Pack" She thought to herself, Ranger didn't want any confrontation right now, she was in no shape to fight if she got confronted by a arrogant alpha. Ranger did the right thing to do and hoped that the alpha would be accepting with her request to enter the territory. Ranger did a long and melodic Howl to show that she was on the territory line and was requesting to enter. RE: Joining Thread - Ragnar - October 11, 2014 In lieu of not messing up Ragnar's timeline (he's currently on an Outrider mission and I don't want to assume anything about that thread since it's just starting out) I'm going to say that this happens right before he leaves. :-)

Ragnar wasn't a pessimist and, in fact, was quite confident that he still continued to hold the Allfather's favor. Even so, having plans set into motion wasn't a bad idea considering he was going to a pack, demanding retribution for a crime committed against one of the Bay's and accusing one of the Spine wolves of committing it. There was always a chance that even Odinn's favor might not be able to save him. A long howl rose from a section of the borders a little bit away from where Ragnar had been prepared to cross. For a second, Ragnar deliberated on if he wanted Thistle to deal with them or if he could spare the time to see to it himself. Remembering Thistle's hesitation to accept new wolves Ragnar's mind was made up for him and the Jarl altered his course and padded in the direction of the call. When he arrived he saw a woman standing on the borders and bared his teeth, hackles bristling as he considered that he hadn't even left yet and here was someone dancing along the borders. Trespassers had been few and far in-between lately and Ragnar wanted it to stay that way. Standing on the borders, however, was just as bad to him and he let out a low, warning growl to her. RE: Joining Thread - Ranger - October 11, 2014 Ranger saw the Alpha with barred teeth coming towards her, she didn't understand but backed up an adequate distance to make this alpha happy and to show she was not here to fight or start anything with him or his family. As she had backed up a scar running down her side had shown threw her fur. "I am just passing threw but I am in no shape t travel further so I am requesting to enter so that I can rest up then continue my travels" she said to him, As she said this to him she was very calm and confident but still non threatening which to most was a weird combination RE: Joining Thread - Ragnar - October 14, 2014 Ragnar got a quick glimpse of her scar but he thought nothing of it. Scars were only impressive to him when they outnumbered and out shown his own, these days. Though the scars that marred the left half of his face did give the appearance of someone once having tried to rip it off it was a little known fact that instead of carrying a war story they, instead, held a holier message. In reality, they were just random scratches that were claimed to be a symbol of Odinn and had been of Ragnar's own desire. In a way, he had earned them but not by fighting for his life as the story of most scars seemed to generally go. A derisive snort left the scarred Scandinavian as she spoke, making her spiel that she was too tired to travel further and that she only wanted to use Stavanger Bay to rest up before she continued on. Nicked muzzle wrinkled in distaste. He wasn't in the business of sheltering and feeding lone wolves who had no interest in staying. RE: Joining Thread - Ranger - October 14, 2014 Ranger just looked at awe with this alpha." i am not asking to be feed,I have been feeding myself for quite some time now, or to be sheltered because i can again manage that myself, but yes i will go to a free territory and claim it as my own so that when other wolves needing a place to rest and somewhere to sleep know that they can." She said to him as she turned her back to him she looked at the moon its rayes making her coat glimmer then just like that without a word she vanished RE: Joining Thread - Ragnar - October 14, 2014 We're only a couple posts away from 10 posts — do you think it's at all possible we could at least get the thread to that point before she leaves so we can both use it for EXP? :-)

Another soft snort left the Viking's flared, black leathery nostrils as a small, coy little smirk began to tug effortlessly at the edges of his lips. She would stand here and tell him that she had not asked for those things when she blatantly had? Perhaps it was something that Ragnar should have let go, but she had just entirely contradicted herself to him and he had no intentions of letting her leave without making sure she understood that.
She could take his advice or leave it, she could stay and try to see if she could win herself a spot within his Bay or she could do as she said she would and try to form a society that did not seem to have any sort of structure or protection to him. He didn't care, simply, he wanted this to be over with either way so that he could begin the pressing mission he'd been distracted from. RE: Joining Thread - Ranger - October 14, 2014 Ranger suddenly reappeared then turned and looked at him. "my intent was to maybe lay down in your territory, i did not wish to be fed, I have managed that by myself, Maybe instead of me just passing threw maybe if you allow it i could stay and join your pack prove my worthingness, though i am quite tired right now I could still prove that i am worth your time, I am strong and i know how to protect those who i care about, "she said to him [/b] RE: Joining Thread - Ragnar - October 15, 2014 Ragnar watched as the woman turned back towards him, presumably to say something in her own defensive, which surprised the Viking but the scarred Scandinavian hid it well behind his present coy smirk. The more time they wasted here, the longer it would set his trip back but he wasn't the type to let someone go without pointing out their mistakes. If other wolves had the liberty to point out his to his face than by Odinn he would do the same to others.
RE: Joining Thread - Ranger - October 15, 2014 Ranger pondered for a moment whether she should join, that is what she had called to him for and she had nothing to go to or back to. " I wish to join your pack, Though i am female i am built well, I am strong, I am a good hunter and protector, I am loyal and a teacher of many things." She said to him RE: Joining Thread - Ragnar - October 17, 2014 Ragnar was patient while the woman decided, weighing the only options he was willing to give her: try to join his pack — after all he wasn't just going to blindly accept her — or leave. Eventually, she broke the silence that had begun to stretch between them, stating that she would like to join the Bay. Ragnar lent her his ear when she spoke that she was a good hunter, protector, that she was loyal and a teacher. His own children were past the point of needing a sitter but the Ostrega broad would probably need one.
RE: Joining Thread - Ranger - October 17, 2014 "In my previous pack I held three trades, i was a warden, a teacher and caretaker. I am truly sure that i want to join and will prove my worth and loyalty with you. I will earn my place here and i shall prove it to you, i know that with winter approaching that they will bring harsh winters and that will lead to food maybe becoming hard to obtain, I know the patterns of the deer that run threw the other lands close to here, as far as i know no packs live there mostly just loners, so I can lead them closer to here by scaring them into thinking that where they are is not safe and they will move their herd away from it thus moving onto your land and providing more food for winter." she said to him, Ranger was very good at tracking animals and watching there patterns, she would get so locked on to the hunt that no one could seem to disturb that. RE: Joining Thread - Ragnar - October 20, 2014 Went ahead and got you titled up and everything. :-) Wrap this up with your post? :D
Ragnar fell silent once more when the woman responded to his inquiry, replying that she had held the titles in her previous pack. While that meant that she had experience, providing she wasn't lying to him (for he had no real way of knowing), it also meant that it would be no problem to prove that she deserved the trades in Stavanger Bay as well. RE: Joining Thread - Ranger - October 20, 2014 Ranger bowed gracefully "you will not regret adding me to your pack, and where would i find her? Should i just howl for her?"she asked "Will I get told what my trade in this pack will be?"she asked Ranger hoped that it would be gameskeeper, she loved tracking the deer and learning their every movement, she felt that it gave her an advantage over them, she could find them from anywhere. Ranger was a great hunter and was going to make it her goal to not let this pack go hungry even if it meant that she herself would not eat. RE: Joining Thread - Ragnar - October 23, 2014
