today, parousia was outside of the den.
there she had hoped to find more warmth, that the sun might shine down on her with a kindness. instead there was a coolness to the air out here. clouds blocked any direct sunbeams from warming the child. this she found to be a problem.
so she toddled a bit further, then further. until she was too tired and decided she needed a nap then and there.
a pale sleeping babe under the low branches of a bush, unconcerned with what or who may be out there.
