Must have been a deadly kiss - Arashi - July 17, 2022

Edit: I will allow a bit of wait time to give both Maiken and Arlette a chance to respond. If a significant time passes before Mar sees this or they choose not to respond, then Arashi will proceed with the assumption she is not near the cache. But Mar, do not feel discouraged to pop in even if they continue without! We can always fix the posting order. ^-^

The air seemed to settle around the strath. For once in a long while, the hound felt appeased. Mornings had been quiet during his patrols and he even had time to lay in bask in the warmth of the sun. Life was good. Much better than it had ever been for him as a child. It was something worth holding on to, and more-so something worth fighting to keep.

There had been only a few new arrivals in the recent weeks and all of them had been close on his mind. Two in particular: @Maiken and @Arlette. To know that they had skilled healers in their presence made him even more at ease. If anything were to happen, they had plenty of eyes and paws to ensure their health and safety.

Having two, Arashi wondered how they had been getting along. And so, with his curiosity in tow, the General sought out the den in which they stored their cache.

Prowling outside the dugout, the man sent a heavy bark through, questioning whether either, both, or neither were present.

RE: Must have been a deadly kiss - Maleah - July 17, 2022

Maiken had been sorting and if she was honestly decorating. She hated bland surroundings. If she had her way they would have colorful shells for plants powdered. She kept seaweed near water. Many things, she wished to do, but some was not conducive to what they were tasked with.

It felt strange to share her duties, but it was also a wonderful experience. Arlette had much knowledge in her white downy head, and Maiken as well. What one did not know the other could share in, and two sets of eyes and paws on a wound, well it seemed the odds were in their favor.

She was lifted from her thoughts by the hearty bark of the War Chief's husband the general and she attended to it promptly. He didn't seem the sort to like dilly dallying.

Hello. She said kindly, dipping her head to him in deference.

RE: Must have been a deadly kiss - Arlette - July 17, 2022

Arlette was working hard to get her medicine stash fully stocked. It helped that it was the right season for it. Plants went to seed, and often those seeds helps with several ailments. Plus plants were easy to find with the summer sun all coaxing out their flowers, making it easier to recognized them.

She had her mouth full of reeds this time. Just because they were so versatile she wanted to have more of them. She trotted towards the cave entrance, heading towards the chamber but before she would enter she saw the general, and Maiken. She placed the reeds on the ground and then looked at the two in greeting. "Oh hello," she spoke, unaware they just met.
