scaring each other. haunting each other. - Cobalt - October 12, 2022 fishing thread! AW tho! maybe somebody he hasn't met yet? :D
The sky was overcast, the air cool and the water colder. He decided this might be a good day to find something in the water. To test his might as a fisherwolf once more. He did not wish to be Eun Liath forever. Yet the start of his fishing proved fruitless. Only provided him with a soaked face that gave him a ratty look as he continued his endeavors. RE: scaring each other. haunting each other. - RIP Bronco - October 12, 2022 In hopes of pleasing Teya with a fresh meal, he went to the lake to try and fish when he thought she might be busy elsewhere. He didn’t even notice the still, dark figure in the water, who was upwind of him at the time. He carefully waded into the waters until he was up to his knees in the cold water, and began to wait. He asssumed the trick was patience, though staring at the surface of the water was somewhat mesmerizing, and started to make him tired. The only thing that kept him from teetering over and falling asleep was the gnaw of cold water against his legs. RE: scaring each other. haunting each other. - Cobalt - October 16, 2022 Somebody moved in the waters near him, but he did not have time to acknowledge them. Another shimmer under the water. Ripples at the surface. If he did not take this chance he might very well miss it for good. He was a loud splash in the silence. This time when he pulled his head back it was with a fish in his jaws. One who still attempted to break free. His teeth pierced scale and flesh, swiftly. RE: scaring each other. haunting each other. - RIP Bronco - October 23, 2022 The swift splash roused Bronco from his daydreams. He'd almost fallen asleep for a moment there- head drifting slowly toward the surface of the water, and a fish slipped between his legs without him even noticing. He jerked his head up at the sound and looked over to see the slim, dark wolf who had been at the meeting, a fish in his jaws. How long had he been there for? He smiled and nodded in a congenial way, waving his tail as though to congratulate him. He stepped forward a bit in the water, thinking maybe the water reaching a bit further up his legs would keep him awake a bit better. RE: scaring each other. haunting each other. - Cobalt - October 27, 2022 He watched the man warmly. The man who seemed to attempt to fish too. Makan wished he could offer a guiding voice, words. Although he felt certain he would not find such a confidence even with a voice. But he waved his tail and bobbed his head. Attempting to offer the man the fish, if he so wanted it. RE: scaring each other. haunting each other. - RIP Bronco - November 08, 2022 He noticed the gesture, but didn't quite catch Makan's intention. "There?" He asked. He drifted carefully through the water, stepping as slowly as he could so that he didn't disturb too much of the silt at the bottom of the lake. "Is, uh, that a better fishing spot?" He asked. The gesture, he assumed, had been an invitation, not an offering. The quiet male seemed friendly- and with a mouthful of fish, it was no wonder he hadn't simply called out. |
