quibus - Germanicus - October 17, 2022

it was evening when they reached the base of the sunspire. the rest of their going would be rough trails he looked at @Makono, at @Nazli, at @Khaba

"we will camp here. guard, if you will with me. we should hunt."

RE: quibus - Nazli - October 17, 2022

Cameo!

Nazli would no doubt be tasked to stay with the crown prince. She took one look upon Khaba and knew he would be better suited for this; but she could not say why, or even lift her voice, as it was not her place.

Was it not her duty now to feed them? The large man could remain a silent guardian; it was a better division of labor. Nazli looked wordlessly to Makono and then to the dirt, keeping silent.

RE: quibus - Annorak - October 17, 2022

The imperator had chosen camp rather quickly. But who was he to argue?
Then the man suggested the two hunt. Khaba shot a concerning glance towards Makono. He was not prepared to leave her and the fellahin alone. Not unless the amiirad instructed him to do so. She was the one he took orders from, not him.

happy to let the boys go hunt! :D

go, hunt with the imperator, mazoi.

it would forge bonds between them — and allow her to relax in the soft company of nazli. who seemed...distant, perhaps. hushed.

she wondered if leaving akashingo had been harder this time.

RE: quibus - Germanicus - October 22, 2022

the imperator moved away.

makono would be safe within their earshot. scouting the areas would keep them twice patrolled and they would return with meat.

he did not wait for the guard, assured that khaba would follow.

RE: quibus - Annorak - October 22, 2022

Though hesitant, the mazoi trusted Makono's judgement and would do as she bade.
First passing her a small nod and careful, steady glance, he soon turned to follow after the imperator.
The two would likely not travel far. If some mishap occurred in the area which they had camped, the two would be kept near enough to hear and return to aid.
