Her eyes burned like the sun they represented.
Tears of the sea, from her father. It would not be the sadness she had held for so long that inspired this. It was the sudden sense of...greatness, she supposed. Honor. The air around her was chilled and it punctuated each long breath she sucked in.
Eventually she ran dry. Sooner than she had imagined.
Perhaps all of her tears had been spent in the mourning of Mojag.
Mojag who was still gone, who she thought of in the way of living. It no longer lingered like an open wound upon her heart.
"if every woman waited for a hunter who walked upon a vision, we would have no young."
She stood tall, turning to walk away from the place of Firemother.
