aardonyx - Reyes (Ghost) - October 18, 2022

He was escorted to a room of his own.

It wasn't even a room - more of a cache with shelves, shaped naturally in a crescent shape through a wall. It didn't fully enclose. (Reyes would learn this was an alcove which was a word he had not been familiar with). There was grass lining the floor, and an old animal pelt spread in the center which he took to be a bed of some kind.

The man was resting there for a few minutes when he saw a narrow body pass by in the hallway, and a few minutes after that was a second one zipping the opposite way.

Unfamiliar with how busy this place could be, the presence of active bodies served to set Reyes further on-edge.

RE: aardonyx - Nala - October 24, 2022

she was one of the bodies, only here to grab things from a place beyond the two seshs' home.

and it was then she caught him resting. she did not wish him to be sanpin. she did not wish it for anyone! but his sentence seemed especially harsh. beyond how her own had been.

perhaps she might save him from a scolding.

there is plenty of work to be done. she warned softly as she stood in his doorway. not cowering like she had before the pharaoh that day. but still tiny by her sheer size alone!

her mismatched gaze of blue and brown avoid the toxic yellow of his own.
