she meant to find the man sooner after their spar.
to give him warmth instead of the cold smarting of a wounded girl. diplomacy had taught her to bring gifts for things like these.
and the best gift to soldiers seemed to be a meal. so between her jaws hung the limp body of a hare.
when she laid eyes upon him, it was with a warm sound in her throat.

He looked her over, didn't see any fresh wounds. Though he wondered at the gift in her jaw. He shifted and one side of maw lifted in greeting.

With time you will better adapt. It just takes a little out of you for a bit.
He remembered well the exhaustion each and every night. He eyed it and then smiled.

her voice and gaze were warm. she encouraged him to eat at his leisure.

Reyson offered her a small smile, simple upturn of one side of his fave. As he took a polite bite of his food.

Reyson was glad she had comfort from homw. He had, had Aquene and Tierra and had found solace in her friendship while in the palace.

he is. both on this trip and in the palace.
it mattered not if he reported to her father first by order. it was her that he had chosen to share voice with.
perhaps you could share tricks and trades. i would be in your debt if you gave my guard wisdom.
but it was a smile that wormed across her face now. warm and delighted at the thought. she was never in debt to any, but things could be exchanged. given. traded.

Reyson was immediately in unnease. He didn't think it would be grand to have her be on his debt. Politics could get muddy.
It will not be a hardship. No debt is needed. It is my job to share my knowledge to better help your guard take care of you.

Reyson had not meant offense. But he did not wish to be mired with politics.
i will do so.
And he would, he wouldn't reject such a thing. He was not stupid. And he did enjoy her presence in small doses.
