rabbit warrens - Lonesome Dove - January 07, 2023 Sadey wasn’t getting better. Lonesome Dove was fucking helpless, a powerless creature as she’d always been. She wasn’t-she couldn’t do anything. Anything at all. There was something wrong with Sadey, and she had left to hunt herbs. It left her shaken, ghoulish and angry at everything and everyone. Stress turned her into a monster, her own self loathing turned her cruel, both of those things plus a hearty dose of helplessness? It turned her into something else entirely. She knew she’d been snapping at those around her, and her jaw was clenched so tight it made her teeth ache most days. Today, she left early from camp, before the dawn could touch the sky, to go hunt. Rabbits were the choice. She was small enough to at least attempt to fit in their warrens, and fit she did. She’d caught two, and in a flash of brown, she hunted down her third by snagging it by its brown little ears, and throwing its head into the ground in a painful, bloody affair that left her tongue with an iron tang. She stood over the creature, steaming breath rising from her mouth and tongue, blood smeared across her face like garish makeup. Her breath steamed in the early morning cold, ghosting out of her maw like a dragon. RE: rabbit warrens - Lýkos - January 20, 2023 Lýkos saw the girl. A Coywolf like himself. Though easily a year younger. She looked not even 2 and he was nearing 3. But she was significantly leaner and smaller than him. More coy than wolf. Unlike himself. He was literally named after his wolf half. He wasn't sure how he felt about the situation he was in. He wanted the rabbits she'd just hunted. He knew he could easily steal them from her as he could easily beat her in a fight, and though they had similar builds, he had strong muscle visibly rippling under fur. But he could also play it nice and perhaps get an ally or future mate. She was too young to breed though. So he decided to go with his gut instinct: Attack and steal her prey. He slunk slowly and low to the ground around to the tunnels she was just emerging from, waiting for her to try to adjust her eyes to the light before leaping at her, aiming to land on her back and pin her down. can do this dice or paragraph style, lmk on disc or on site
