Sivituvuk - Kausiut - February 03, 2023

@Samani

Other than her mother and father Kausiut had not sought the company of other pack mates and family members on purpose. Though socialization and ensuing conversations were becoming easier the more she practiced, they also exhausted her mentally. Since her mind was her main entertainment, when she was on her own or when she had to take yet another lengthy rest that had strained her mis-balanced limbs, she chose to use it sparingly.

However, seeing Sialuk again had inspired curiousity in Kausiut to see, what her sister was doing. She did not understand much of the wedding stuff or how the preparations went, nor did she cared to know, but suddenly... she felt like actually interacting with Samani would be more interesting than just catching glimpses of her from afar. With this in mind, on a nice sunny day, she made a leisurely walk towards the place, where the scents of her sister and her mate were the strongest.

RE: Sivituvuk - Samani - February 09, 2023

It was a pleasant surprise to step outside and see the features of Kausiut.

Samani had missed her sister deeply, when she had first gone on her journey. The young sea girl had spent her afternoons wondering how her sister fared, hoping that she was growing strong. As time had passed, it had become more normal for Kau to be gone than for her to be present. This did not mean that the young moon girl missed her any less.

A smile found her snout. Samani stepped toward Kausiut with a few sniffs at her nape and her shoulders. She looked tall and strong. It was strange to think of her as having been anything else. Even with the portions of her physique that were disadvantaged, she held herself with quiet power.

Kau, Samani spoke quietly. I have missed you, sister.

Thank you so much for making this. <3

Sometimes you do not realize you have missed a person, until you see him or her again. This happened to Kausiut too, when Samani greeted her cordially and warmly. There was not much she recalled from their shared childhood and it could be so that Kau had not always treated her sibling nicely. She had every reason to envy her now - being everything that the crippled girl was not, but since their interests in life did not intertwine much, there was no resentment.

She returned the welcome in as a polite way as she was capable of and then looked around, searching for Samani's fiance. "Rodyn?" she asked, tilting her head to the side, wondering, whether he was around as well. "Well? You," she inquired next.

RE: Sivituvuk - Samani - February 28, 2023

Samani was unbothered by her sister’s ways. Kausiut had been young when she had gone on her spiritual journey. There were not many memories of them together as grown girls. Seeing her back in Moonglow was enough to conjure memories of when they had been children. There was comfort in knowing that Kau had become exactly who she was meant to be.

She asked about Rodyn and Samani smiled warmly.

Rodyn is good. I am good. They did not need to speak of emotions. It might be easier to share what had happened and their plans for the future. We plan to make our village, just there- the peachy girl’s nose pointed toward the shore, toward the plateau.

It’s far from the sand. Maybe you could visit. Samani hadn’t forgotten that Kausiut didn’t like their first trip to the sea.

RE: Sivituvuk - Kausiut - March 04, 2023

Kausiut had observed that after inquiries of one's well-being people most often replied with a positive note, even if their eyes and face spoke of the contrary. Up until now all the Moonglowers she had spoken to, had seemed just as content as they had claimed. But she was familiar with deception now and people could be so good at it that you did not even notice it.

Not her sister though. If we compare Kausiut to a clipart dark rain-cloud with rumbling thunder and lightening, then Samani was always that golden lining. "Soon?" she asked, wondering, if the pair were to leave any day now. Rodyn had not seemed to know the timeline, when they had spoken last to each other.

Soon, Samani confirmed, nodding.

It was both exciting and frightening to think that she would not call Moonglow her home. They would build their own village near the water. It was fortunate that Samani was able to find land so near to her mother and to her sister, who would be take Moonspear. They would be connected, from mountain to coast. It felt right, even with the fears of the unknown swirling about in her mind.

You will visit?

Kausiut could not be told where to go or what to do. Samani knew this much, already. She admired her sister’s independence and her sturdy spirit. It was out of love that the sea girl requested for Kau to see her new home.

RE: Sivituvuk - Kausiut - April 05, 2023

Kausiut acknowledged the fact with a little nod, no particular emotions. It was true that she liked Samani better than most people. Not only because she was her twin, but also because it was hard not to like her. Even for such a social-misfit as her. On the other hand time and distance had made them a bit more like strangers to one another. Which meant that Kau would not mourn her sister's departure too much.

"Way?" she asked, wondering, where the new village was going to be founded.
