ice - Tullik - February 17, 2023

With Sialuk’s bird at her back, Tullik sped away from the spear in the direction of the pack her alpha had directed her to. She did not rest, though she should have, alternating between a trot when she got tired and a speeding gallop when she caught her breath. She was made for stamina, but the girl was an exhausted mess when she finally climbed the walls of the Caldera and was met by the scent of unfamiliar wolves.

Breathless and panting, but knowing her duty here and what it would require of her, she coughed to try and inflate her lungs, before she was raising her voice, a breathless call for the healer Sialuk told her was named @Bridget . Help! She sang into her call I need help!

RE: ice - Bridget - February 18, 2023

Bridget had no clue why a stranger was screaming bloody murder at their border but it could not be good. She was there as soon as she could manage it.

What happened? She asked, already moving past to show she was ready to talk on the move. They could hit introductions later.

The woman Bridget was taller than she, but she was immediately on the move. Tullik turned to follow her, trotting at her flank.

Starwoman, Sialuk, she has sent me to find you. We have an injured boy, bad, and she says you are a healer. She was feeling the stretch and burn of her legs as she walked, muscles protesting it with every step.

He is in Moonspear, Sialuk said it was a bear. Tullik knew only that, she hadn’t stuck around to figure out more. She had her duty and she preformed it.

Bridget’s only hesitation was leaving for any amount of time right now, but if it was urgent and he was injured, she had made a promise. Bridget paused and tossed up a howl to let any in earshot know where she was going and that she wouldn’t be gone overly long. Then she turned her gaze to Tullik.

Lead the way. Her eyes were concerned, but soft as they regarded her. They were perhaps in a hurry but she would let the wearier woman set their pace, needing her guidance to get to the mountain where this patient was. She’d scaled it a time or two, but never in the way that led to a claimable portion of land.

She was to lead. The girl nodded her head, feeling her heart pick up a hummingbird’s pace as she darted forward several steps, before settling into a long strided trot in front of the woman.

Travel back up into the mountains would be swift. Tullik was a rather good guide on that aspect, even as her limbs burned and her lungs squeezed.
