the land was somehow alive beneath the snow. she waited in the saffron grove.

zosime worked upon a gift. one for the healing meadow, one for her own brother — who she had promised she might learn his craft to help him further. that she may also see the world with eyes of a healer.
yet she did not hold the grounded nature of one. still too lost among her melodies and stars.
her mother called and with her she carried her two bundles. setting them down between them, for she figured she might go give them after this. there was a small hesitancy in her greeting, reaching to place a careful kiss to a cheek.
