This was a dangerous place.
Too sharp a howl would send a wave of snow tumbling down with unavoidable speed, and to tread here was to have one’s claws constantly strained in an effort to maintain purchase on the slick-faced glacier. Exousia made a straight line for level ground, carefully picking her way through a layer of snowdrift as the sun started to set on these lands. She was ready to rid herself of this territory and find a bit of shelter for the evening.
