She's just a girl and she's on fire - Enelise - March 19, 2023 Enelise woke up and it was a regular day just like any other. Her stomach growled so she ate. She snuggled, but oh no. Not today. There was more and it was not making her happy. That blackness that she always saw, today it was different. There was movement and she could see all around her. She squeaked in outrage. How dare it be lit up in places, and how dare she be able to see. These changes didn't make her happy and she squeaked again in disgust. Which caused a whole other feeling of discomfort as she felt the edges of sharpness in the mouth that took the milk. She flopped her head down absolutely over it already. RE: She's just a girl and she's on fire - Crowfeather - March 19, 2023 The dark star had been busy, or so he felt. Crowfeather spent much of his time gathering leaves and herbs, carrying them to his storage places, and checking them to make sure they had not withered into useless things. No matter how involved he was with his tasks, the tripod stopped himself at the same time each day and went to visit Ash Paw and her pups. A squeak of protest sounded as Crowfeather approached their family den. He paused, tentatively outside the entrance. It did not sound as though there was any family business being discussed within. A small chuff announced his presence before he found himself looking at one of the little girls. Hi,Crowfeather whispered to the young pup. His heart beat swift in his chest. RE: She's just a girl and she's on fire - Enelise - March 19, 2023 Enelise stared at him, her tiny brow furrowed a look of abject horror on her face, but not for him. Her circumstances. She moved on wobbly legs, cross her belly towards him. The simple fact his face looked like shadows and squiggles and this just didn't do. No sir! She voiced her displeasure at each movement. How dare he not pick her up like the queen she was. How DARE! When she finally reached him, she looked up at him with intensity. Though there was still no recognition. Though she did recognize his scent. She flapped a noodle paw at him, and gnashed the teeth that were coming in, but not yet showing. RE: She's just a girl and she's on fire - Crowfeather - March 27, 2023 Such personality for one so small! Crowfeather leaned toward the youth and allowed her arm to smack feebly against him. It carried no force. The gnashing of her gummy mouth was enough to draw a laugh from his lips and bring him closer. She had scooted herself a short distance from her mother and the other children. Crowfeather did not want her to grow cold. You’re a leader, aren’t you? The other pups haven’t come this far yet,he whispered to the girl. Resting his chin on the floor, the shadow marveled at the puppy. He was hers to do with as she would. RE: She's just a girl and she's on fire - Enelise - March 27, 2023 His warmth was nice and she pushed further into the fur at his chest, burying her entire body into it. Squeaking in pleasure. A soft purr and churr. She batted half heartedly at his forearms and paws, and finally being so small. Exhaustion wormed into her body and she curled up into his chest, with her tiny head against his elbow and little snores took up the air. RE: She's just a girl and she's on fire - Crowfeather - March 31, 2023 There was nothing like the expression of the child who batted at his arms and played happily near his dark chest. She was soft and her motions were clumsy. The touches from her paws were rough and soft, lacking even the smallest strength. Still, the girl demonstrated her power for some time before she appeared to grow tired. When the child pressed to his chest, Crowfeather felt his eyes sting. He reached down to offer a tender kiss to the child’s head. Honey gold eyes watched the gentle rise and fall of her small shape as she breathed in and fell into puppy dreams. The dark star was still, coveting this moment. |
