mwen ale pou kounye a - Mireille - April 01, 2023 apr 3rd is when it starts for her. figured it would be realistic for her to sense it and head out early. tags for ref <33 she'll be gone at least a week and a half if not two
when the sun descended, it felt as though mireille, standing upon the highest point of the seacliffs, felt it enter her heart and glinder all through her body. the feeling remained warm inside her through the night and into the next morning. she rose with pounding heart, a trickling adrenaline she had not yet experienced lacing her heart.
to @Chacal first she had gone, and perhaps her sister, her wise sister, might see it in the lines of her, the odd chaos of her words, the anxiousnessness of every step. she had to leave. and she had to go far, for there was not a man in the world she would lead back here. kissing @Chiro, kissing chani. next, to find @Rosalyn and @Jorunn, to tell them that it had come time to be her time, cheeks rounded and rosy below eyes that glowed suddenly with tears to leave them all. not for so long. and not forever. never that. she had gone then to suzu and @Etienne and @Theo, entrusting them to listen to their maman, encouraging them to support the efforts of @Wing and @Lilitu while she was away. and to aminthe and their elder sisters she came now, embracing, speaking words of return. lastly to @Val, for whom mireille had a tight sisterly embrace, a whisper to defend chacal in all things and to waste no time in calling for @Svalinn or redtail rise in her absence. by late afternoon, mireille stood silhouetted with reluctant poise against the backdrop of the tangle. she howled out once, twice, paused — she forced herself away, a streak of crimson in the yawning thorns which led out to a new sort of adventure entirely, one that was sure to touch her life in the most poignant of ways. |
