did gyre and gimble in the wabe: - Blossom - April 19, 2023

Blossom had discovered something very important.

Legs and the great many facts of them. She sped everywhere in their new homestead, from corner to corner like a tiny bumper car, her little tail raised in the air for balance. She wasn’t quite the fastest thing in the world, but she definitely thought she was.

This way and that way, from corner to diagonal to corner!

From her open mouth would rise a great shriek of excitement as she zoomed past whoever was in the den at that moment, making a break for the great outside, before veering away.

Uh oh. Too fast!

Her legs tangled as she turned, and the golden child went rolling and tumbling, ending up a heap of fur and wide eyes on the floor.

RE: did gyre and gimble in the wabe: - Reverie - April 19, 2023

Possibly a cameo depending on if @Lestan wants in/if y'all are chill with a group thread <3 wanted to post a reaction but I don't wanna hoard Blossom!!
When Blossom had first started to gain a sense of balance, Reverie had panicked. Only a little. She'd found herself following the girl at a half-pace, steps stuttering as she tried to turn with Blossom to keep up with her sudden changes in direction. But it didn't take long for her to realize the futility of it all.
So eventually she settled and decided to trust in the ability of herself and Lestan to retrieve their daughter if she wandered too far. Reverie would not let her out of sight, not for a very long time — but she was content to let her frolic and play in the large space. Still, her paranoia demanded that she station herself between Blossom and the entrance. Even as she watched the girl fondly and laughed softly at her antics, she kept one ear turned toward the cave mouth. She didn't move to help when Blossom fell; after all, falling was a part of learning, and a part of childhood. It wasn't something their daughter needed to be protected from.
