She had killed a young goat, barely more than a calf, on a technicality.
But she had still, rather clumsily, prepared a pelt from it. And she brought it to the newest mother among their number. @Nasamik wasn’t a face she had met before, knowing her only in the barest hints of her scent. She kept to herself.
Tullik had forgotten what it felt like to be in a village. She would have to remember that.
The lengthy legged girl walked the skin between her teeth, trying to keep it off the ground. And, when the ulaq came into her view, she gave a small noise of summoning, a muffled boof around the skin.
