liability release - Phox - April 28, 2023 set for tomorrow. <3
Alone, Phox traveled more quickly. Along the way, he brainstormed ways they might let Maxim know where they had gone. That is, only if Arsenio and Tamar wanted to leave. And what if they didn't? Phox hadn't explored that scenario just yet. He didn't think it likely that Towhee would want to stay even if Arsenio and Tamar did. He certainly couldn't fathom himself leading a brand new "outpost" as Germanicus would have called it. Trundling in around midday, he approached Arsenio and @Tamar's den. Saleem and @Sylianos—whom Phox was woefully unfamiliar with—were playing outside, and the Redhawk peered around looking for their mother. RE: liability release - Meadow - April 28, 2023 -wrench- It wouldn’t be Tamar he found—not just yet, at least. Meadow shifted from her position as the Redhawk came to view, her amber eyes blinking to him, trying to mask the flutter of nervousness that crowded at her heart. He looked for Tamar—surely he wasn’t interested in being in the same vicinity as the 'other woman' who had helped unravel Fennec’s relationship.“She should be back soon,” she offered, her eyes drifting from him and then to the boys, playing. “She needed a moment. She’s…” Her lips pursed. “She’s strung as thin as I think she can be,” she admitted. RE: liability release - Phox - April 28, 2023 It wasn't Tamar watching the kids, but Meadow. Pretty, pretty Meadow who was very much attached to Reyson and off-limits to Phox. He felt his gut turn. He had avoided her solely because he liked her. Which sounded silly, until Phox remembered he most certainly did not want to be "the other man" in any situation. He was perfectly happy single, remember? And he had Towhee and the kids to think about. Not to mention he did not dream of upsetting whatever was going on with Meadow and Reyson. Oh, hey, hi Meadow. I can just... come back a little later then?he suggested. Maybe around dusk? RE: liability release - Meadow - April 28, 2023 He was surprised to see her, it seemed. And not necessarily in a good way, as he stumbled over words at first. He would come back later—in such a rush to leave her presence it seemed and for a moment, she realized she had almost become the pack pariah. Her ears slid back to her copper tipped skull—her eyes falling upon the youthful and content boys. To hold such innocence. I… Okay, she acquiesced, refusing to look at him now. She’ll be happy to know you’re all back. RE: liability release - Sylianos - April 29, 2023 One post cameo for reasons!
Sun Eyes was watching the boys today, but Sylianos didn't really mind. He was quiet around her at first, but it didn't take long to open up, and when Saleem proposed a wrestling match, he quickly forgot she was even there. His brother had him in some kind of wolfish chokehold with the side of his muzzle pressed into the dirt. Sylianos' jaws were parted and every so often he jerked, trying to wrench his head around so he could nip at Saleem and turn the tables. He was in prime position to see the newcomer. "Look!" he told Saleem in cryptophasia, voice strained by his odd position. It took him a moment to figure out why Phox looked so weird, but when he did, he alerted Saleem with a giggle of, "Funny Legs!" RE: liability release - Saleem - June 02, 2023 just one for saleem as well. <3
Wrestling was the name of the game, and it happened to be one of his favorite games to play with his twin. When his brother paused to point out the three-legged man, Saleem paused, only to wonder if his brother had done so to compromise his hold. It worked, and Saleem protested with a, "Not fair!" when the tables finally did turn. RE: liability release - Phox - June 09, 2023 last one from me!
"All back" was far from what this was, but Phox wasn't about to saddle Meadow with that. He would come back later this evening, as promised. Thanks, Meadow. To the boys who wrestled in the background, Phox smiled, then made his way to his usual resting spot to catch some sleep before the sun began to settle under the horizon. |
