And I am gentle - Judah - June 03, 2023 RO or open to family!
Life becomes visible. But blurry blue eyes cannot see things for how they really are. There are gyrating silhouettes against a too-bright haze that spills into the peaceful dark and over the boy Judah. He squirms nervously like a detainee being interrogated under a spotlight, looking for the safety of his temples and sanctuaries, but in their place is gliding smoke, just at ground level and high overhead. Everything is tall and vast, amorphous and strange. It’s sensory overload, this enciphered sight. He squeezes his eyes and a hundred stars cloud his vision, willing it all to go away. He wishes to be blind again! RE: And I am gentle - Dinah - June 05, 2023 There is a rustling from beside her that rouses her from gentle slumber. When her eyes blink themselves open, they squint as they focus on the form of one of her brothers. At first, she cannot tell which one it is; two of them, she'd learned, are very particularly similar in appearance, muted and monochromatic for the most part. She reaches a paw out towards him, and decides based on sensation that it is Judah.
A mousy yip leaves her lungs, widening her eyes as her face moves closer to his. Calm down! Then, jaws open and clasp around his nose. There is a weird feeling as she presses down; she is biting. She has teeth! RE: And I am gentle - Judah - June 06, 2023 He was wheeling himself into concentric circles, blurry eyes watching the shadows that pass, before something collided and he still, blinking uselessly to clear his vision. It’s a temple. A golden one. She smells familiar. She has a form, and detail, fuzzy, yet there. There is warmth as she clamps down onto what is presumably his temple, in likeness to her’s. She’s soft. He stares. He's not so scared anymore. |
