She laughs like god, her minds like a diamond - Legend - June 19, 2023 Backdated a couple days! Her back was wildly scratching itself, trampling rows of flowers and smushing them to flat discs. Her nose came to frequent twitches, bringing large floods of air and pollen down into her lungs before she haphazardly snorted it all back out. It stuck to her fur, making it uncomfortably sticky and yuckily pleasant to smell. Then, this smell must have been lovely to others. So, she rolled in it more, trying to make herself smell nice and good, trying to spread her scent all over the sad flopping flowers she'd shoved her love onto.
When she rolled onto her stomach, she crawled around to deepen herself into a lush, full bed of them that covered her body. Forcing her limbs tightly through, the bottom of her muzzle pressed neatly down to the soil, only to dart straight up with that smile on her lips, yet crooked all as normal.
Her tail fanned the air in slow, gentle motions as that feeling of achievement fell straight down into her tummy. Every nook and cranny was given to her line of sight, and she welcomed all of it.
RE: She laughs like god, her minds like a diamond - Louis - June 21, 2023 Louis made no attempt to disguise his approach, though he seemed at first to have gone unnoticed in her... aggressive frolicking. She'd done a number on the nearby blooms, rolling the way some wolves rolled on fishbones. Louis had to admit, the flowers seemed a little more appealing. There was no staying unnoticed now, however. She was faced directly toward him. He wagged his tail, offering a friendly woof to gauge whether she might be interested in company. RE: She laughs like god, her minds like a diamond - Legend - July 10, 2023 Her back was soon on the soil again. Whether or not she saw him was not answered. The earth was quiet around them, but in her world, in her life, in her and atmosphere, it was alive. Soft air fell into her lungs, and as she exhaled, she could feel the field move with her breath. She fell in with the wind, and the wind fell in with her. Her tongue crossed over her teeth, while her teeth tapped the top of blades of grass, only to delicately grip, grip, until they broke through it. A blunt slice, and one she'd done so with closed eyes and a tail tip that rubbed against her stomach.
Oh, and how this feeling of being suffocated by the thick air of pollen kept her still. So, so still against the ground, yet when she decided to move, it was like flowing silk. In bountiful, high, swift steps, she was at a stand, approaching Louis jump by jump through the field, until she was at his side, by his face.
Before she came face to face with him, she fell into a dip, and came up with a lively, easy glide to his eyes. She went in circles around him, so close to touching her fur to his but never quite as a soft smile and dipped, lively eyes that were flourishing with fire. Fire that she surrounded him with in hopes he was encompassed by her thriving essence, and an essence she invited him to stay in. Dipping her head low below his, she came up beside his head again and kept in a slow walk, offering gentle waves of her tail against the wind.
"Your name?"
RE: She laughs like god, her minds like a diamond - Louis - July 12, 2023 He wondered for a moment if he'd found one of the faeries his father told him stories about. She seemed at first above noticing him, too wrapped up in her carefree... game? it must be a game -- to cast even a glance in his mortal direction. Louis was a little entranced. Even moreso when she closed in, near enough to smell the sweetness of her and yet he dared not touch. Not while she danced. His tail, though, relayed his excitement as it swept back and forth in a hurricane, sweeping long strands of warm-weather greenery to either side with each beat. He met her gaze, blinking, and grinned, "Louis." You weren't supposed to give your name to fae, were you? He remembered belatedly. She must be bewitching him. It was hard to mind too much. "And what should I call you? Besides fair?" His grin widened. |
