Five Minutes.
That’s the time it takes for her to breakdown after parting from Louis, the devastation on his face singing every corner of her mind as her eyes close.
That’s how long the nausea lasts as she throws up every last drop of breakfast, and continues still to heave when there’s no more to give.
That’s all the time she allows herself to panic over the knowledge that she is pregnant. She is exhilarated; she laughs. She’s terrified; she cries.
She’s going to be somebody’s mom.
