Ametrine - Nazair - July 12, 2023 Though small, Nazair had quite the appetite. He would feast and feast until his belly grew round and fat and then he would roll to his back. His paws would fall, tucked, to his chest. A perfectly rotund baby who had been filled by his mother's milk and the safety of the den she had created for them. It was a peaceful paradise and it had already worked to spoil the boy. Nazair released a mighty yawn, squeaking his voice as his mouth closed. Though his eyes were still blind, the boy could sense his brother nearby. With all the power he posessed, the boy began to inch to where the warmth was strongest in hopes that he would find @Baldr. RE: Ametrine - Baldr - July 19, 2023 Similar to his lookalike, Baldr fed constantly when he was awake and otherwise moved around very little. The most he would do between meals would be to smack his lips together, utter a soft grunt and position himself to accommodate the swelling of his belly. Otherwise, the boy had nothing to want for. He felt someone nudge him, while he was laying on his back. He uttered a soft grunt and stretched his little paws toward the ceiling of their den, uttering a squeaky little yawn as he did so. When he brought his paws back to his chest, he reached out with one to see if his brother was still there. RE: Ametrine - Nazair - July 20, 2023 There was a flowering of triumph in Nazair's belly the moment his nose found purchase in Baldr's plump frame. The hairs of his snout captured some of his twin's movement, assuring him that he had found his target. Nazair, while remarkably attached to his lookalike, found the temptation of milk was enough force to divert his path. One wobbly leg stretched out and prodded into his brother, pushing Nazair toward the tuft of fur at their mother's belly. His nose guided him well enough. The only issue was the churning of his hind legs. They were sure to disturb Baldr in his peaceful state. RE: Ametrine - Baldr - July 23, 2023 Nazair was there, before he moved away. But like little propellers his little legs pushed out behind him, using Baldr as his (slow motion) launch pad. Baldr, having had an itch along his right side, rolled over so that his brother’s paws could better satisfy that itch, emitting a happy little moan. RE: Ametrine - Nazair - July 26, 2023 With Baldr as a launching pad, Nazair umphed his way forward and made contact with the elixir of life. His stubby tail wavered while he filled his belly. The kicking from his hind legs ceased, though hopefully not before satisfying his brother's itch. Even in their blind state, the boys seemed to work well with each other. Chin dribbling with milk, Nazair grunted and shifted himself so that he could prod his twin with his blunt nose. RE: Ametrine - Baldr - July 27, 2023 Baldr didn’t mind being a stepping stone at all. Sure, when Nazair leaned a bit too much onto one of his paws, it put a bit more pressure on him, but he wasn’t about to complain. His brother’s little claws had satisfied the itch he’d had, and now his tail was providing a nice fan for his face. They would share in this experience mutually, benefitting from the assistance one could offer the other. RE: Ametrine - Nazair - August 03, 2023 All that motion coupled with his round belly was enough to draw the boy into sleep. When Nazair had found a warm place to tuck himself, he yawned and nestled his face deeper into the puppy fur of his brother. The twins looked peaceful in the safety of their family den. They looked as though they belonged to each other. It was not a dream that pulled Nazair out to his sea of sleep. It was the darkness in his eyes and the coziness of his siblings. The only sound to signal his slumber was a wheezing snore that lifted from his snout. RE: Ametrine - Baldr - August 04, 2023 With his brother acting as a weighted blanket, Baldr too felt fit enough to sleep. The robust boy had few issues with being at the bottom of the wolf pile, where he was both warmed and warm for his brother. Nestled into the fur of their parents, the boys could breathe little tiny snores as they fell asleep together. Only in dreams were they separated. RE: Ametrine - Nazair - August 17, 2023 As sleep swept Nazair into a land of dreams, the gentle rise and fall of his brother’s sleeping body were translated into comforting waves. It was dark and peaceful. These moments that would be forgotten or replaced with memories that had vision and light were no less important. Nazair was happy with Baldr. This would never change. |
