keep away from trouble and sing to it - Thutmose - July 28, 2023 I hope it isn't too soon for another thread!
Mid–day, Thutmose sought out the young Queen, @Toula. Having almost passed her chambers, he wondered if now was too soon to seek a second lesson in the deities known and worshipped by those devout of Akashingo. Waiting a distance away from the entrance, he watched as a fellahin slipped within to inquire. RE: keep away from trouble and sing to it - Toula - August 13, 2023 the Queen had been both in the midst of being groomed and choosing flowers for the day of her coronation, as well as planning for the newest altar to be built. it was soothing to be groomed, and pleasing to choose things for both her ceremony and the protection of Akashingo. Toula took well to this role of hers, glad for all the things she would and could do for her people. another fellahin came in, inquiring as to if she had a moment for a visitor—and her lips turned upward in a happy smile to know the foreign Sphinx had come so soon! but then she frowned, knowing there were many tasks at hand she must first complete… please tell the Sphinx I will call upon him before the sun rises, so that we might meet Ra together on the morrow, with a gentle nod of her head. then seemed as good a time as any for him to make rounds with her… and to perhaps aid her in finding things to be placed upon the altar to be built! the fellahin went to deliver the news to the Sphinx, who continued to linger upon her mind well after the news had been delivered. I’ll start us that thread ^ soon!!!
RE: keep away from trouble and sing to it - Thutmose - August 13, 2023 Promptly so, a fellahin had emerged, soon then to return. The Queen was busied and could not see him. It was as he expected. Nodding a brief thanks, Thutmose chuffed a farewell and departed. He would wait for her to send for him. |
