i. don't you love it? - Hviske - August 09, 2023 after july 10th ;; vague timeline is vague
He felt so weird, some gap between child and adult that felt so out of place on an isle with such a clear distinction. There were pups everywhere. So many. How many were there, again? He couldn't remember. But he resorted to trying to blend in as best he could, as he still felt bad about what he'd done and he hadn't gotten the time to apologize. And he was still, grief-stricken. Seeing their happy faces reminded him of the childhood he lost. No, Hviske - they accepted him in, so it wasn't so... bad. They didn't deserve to be the object of his sadness. He barely knew them and they'd done nothing wrong. Hviske resorted to sniffing out the isle, trying to forget. RE: i. don't you love it? - Pakasqa - August 16, 2023 the man with the mask like her lived on in her mind. he had looked normal; kind even. the lost darkling child mourned for a connection that would never be. she trailed hviske. she kept to the weeds, ignoring the heavy scent of lavender as it trickled in her nose. she was curious - where was he going, what was he doing? but she was too shy to make herself known. behind hviske, a tussock of lavender rattled with a tiny sneeze. RE: i. don't you love it? - Hviske - August 20, 2023 A child followed him, his ears told him this. He could feel her footfalls as easily as he could feel his own among the soft sands of the isle. A breeze ruffled his grey back. He let her follow him for a while, more focused on trying to find his way around on his own - Hviske could do this, the little whisper on the wind could. Though now he wished that part of this plan of his included asking for assistance. The yearling turned his head after some time, looking up to see not much in the way of landmarks, at the very least, not one he recognized in earnest. He was new to the island, for sure, eyes betraying subtle emotions such as sadness. Ma wouldn't have let him get so lost. Hello?he called to her. RE: i. don't you love it? - Pakasqa - August 25, 2023 her ruse was up the moment her sneeze rattled the grass she hid in. traitor nose, giving everything away. ava stepped shyly from the tall grass as she felt hviske’s gaze upon her. there was a sadness in his eyes she recognized in kinship immediately. her tail, clamped close to her thighs, gave a timid wave. but ava did not approach - a call from heda beckoned her back to the den. fading here, feel free to bring back if u reactivate! <3
