tuniksirnaruk ▮ - Kukutux - September 21, 2023 just a re-arrival post! optional to post <3 @Aiolos @Shikoba @Kivaluk @Massaraq @Arrluk @Kassuq @Ajei <3
darkened night brought moonwoman's tread in return to her village.
she fell into the first arms to receive her, making no effort to hide the tears which flowed along her face now. she had bathed in moonspear, eaten fine food; her body had been strengthened, but her face was permeated with a grief that would not soon leave her. "she sleeps in peace," kukutux managed before her cries began in earnest; she would go where led, surrendering everything in sorrow to the family so loved. RE: tuniksirnaruk ▮ - Shikoba - September 21, 2023 it would be shikoba who would first offer her open arms to the grieving moon woman, holding her tenderly as she would come to provide a soft lead towards the ulaq. this road walked by the moon villages would take time to recover from, as many wore the familiar face of grief. shikoba's tears never did dry, though the elder must breathe in her courage to keep herself afloat. she keeps herself close to kukutux, a strong shoulder for her sister to lean upon if needed. within moonglow lived a spirit that connected the village, and perhaps all of the bodies that made up the spine would be here to gather in moon woman's greatest time of need. for a moment, there comes a touch of fear in shikoba's heart as she thinks of her children. RE: tuniksirnaruk ▮ - Massaraq - September 23, 2023 Massaraq arrived later, he had not ventured to Moonspear but did not wish to miss moon woman's return. He stood at a distance, unsure of the grief that had settled over the meeting. Quietly he followed on the way to the ulaq. Their other fire mother and galana missing, gone. Samani gone forever. He did not know what to do with the information, in such a short time it felt as if loss were the only inevitability. skippable!
RE: tuniksirnaruk ▮ - Aiolos - September 26, 2023 Shikoba greeted Moonwoman at their mountain gates. She guided her to the ulaq, with tears streaming down her cheeks and scarring of her muzzle. Massaraq came but stayed distant. Arrluk lifted from the grass outside of the den and quietly came to his mother's side, pressing the crown of his head to her shoulder. He had no words and neither did Aiolos. Sunman roused from the confines of their den to stand now just outside the opening. Firey eyes had come to simmer out, dulled, bloodshot and worn. He looks to his wife, his throat tightening and gut sinking. With the coming of their first (and many) grand-pups, they had sacrificed a daughter. RE: tuniksirnaruk ▮ - Kukutux - September 30, 2023 last for me! <3
shikoba bore her.
massaraq was silent. arrluk offered a gesture of love. aiolos stood before her. aiolos stood before her. kukutux had no words, only a cry as she fell into his arms, and there she would remain, the world falling away until her exhausted body put itself to sleep. |
