Normally subhuman cultures such as this are of no consequence - Anathema - December 12, 2023

Maybe @Amalia if you have time? <3
The moody skies had Ana in high spirits; harsh sunlight often left her groggy and irritable, but an overcast day such as this was perfect weather for the darkling. She was stretched out beside the lake where she spent much of her time when she was not with Ponyboy, toying with her latest find.

A raven's foot, still mostly intact and only slightly decayed. She chewed on it for a time, then rolled it back and forth across the ground with her paws. She wondered what had happened to the raven. A larger bird, or some other predator? Or maybe it was still out there even now, minus one leg. Ana wasn't sure if a bird could survive a wound such as this. She studied the talons and contemplated.

There was new faces in the pack lands. Faces she hadn't met yet, but could tell they were knew by scent alone. She had not strayed fur in recent weeks. Her wounds now fully healed and scarred, proof that she had knocked at death's door and lived. It was funny how those things worked. She had been running away, only to return to where she wanted to be all along. How wonderfully strange.

Today her gaze came upon a wolf that was as mismatched in her fur as her body proportions and Amalila wondered at it. It wasn't a terrible sight. It made for a unique and lovely pattern, but it was interesting.

She chuffed quietly to let the other know she was near, a young one by the looks of it and she waited, patiently.

Ana glanced up at the chuff, dropping the raven's foot with a guilty lowering of her ears. A few nervous clicks filled the air while she reached for something to say. Hi, She finally settled on, studying the woman. Tall, dark-furred, green-eyed. Anathema had never seen her before.

I'm Anathema. Ponyboy's friend, This was becoming something of a mantra; her justification of her place here. Without him, she had none. Ana picked up the raven's foot again and lifted it to show the woman, wondering what she would think of it.

The girl made noises before she spoke. It unnerved Amalia a bit. But she said nothing simply waited. A claws foot falling to the ground. Was the girl a witch?

Hello. I'm Amalia. Mai's friend. A smile then. She didn't know why they were adding who they were friends with. If she needed to add more she would, but she felt Maia fit this bill for the moment.

What are you going to do with the Raven's foot?

Amalia. Maia's friend. She nodded, lowering the raven's foot to sit between her paws. Her head tilted when Amalia asked what she would do with it.

Should I do something with it? She mused aloud, thoughts wandering. Can a raven's wing fly on its own? Can its foot still hop? Ana looked down at the withered thing. Isn't it worthless if it can't serve its purpose anymore? Worthless. Like her. But Anathema wasn't sure she'd ever had a purpose to begin with.

Amalia watched the loweing of the claw. A tilted ear forward.

You can make jewelry or a talisman to ward of things. But you would need to find a medicine woman or man for that.
