selenia cantered.
the movement was as freeing as it was cumbersome. she was weighed down by her great belly but her hooves were fleet, and carried her among the bison.
by now they were used to her company. umini pushed between them to regard the mare with amusement. still fat!
flanks heaving as she slowed and caught her breath, selenia whinnied in pleasure to see the bison woman, and began to paw snow away from grass for them both.
