Do you see what I see? - Ebra - March 26, 2024 Though time was a construct she did not understand yet, Ebra knew that she had grown, for her eyes had opened and she attempted walking. The world around her was blurry, but she could finally see! Her legs could not carry her very far, and if she tried, she would stumble and fall—but, the failures did not stop her, she continued to try. And try. And try some more. Little nose wiggles accompanied her scenting the area around her, the smells finally matched to the world around her. The den in which she and her siblings slept with their parents was slightly alight with golden sunshine. The entrance was bright and hurt her eyes, causing them to blink rapidly and tear up. Her attention moved to those inside the den, instead. With a little unsteady bow and a yip, she asked for play. Her tail wagged fervently, waiting. RE: Do you see what I see? - Candle - March 26, 2024 Candle spent nearly every waking moment with her children. S'ari had been right — they were loud little things. But so endearing, too! She doted on them endlessly, bringing back small toys from her infrequent ventures beyond the cave. She offered one such toy now for Ebra's inspection: a dried lizard's tail, its colors dulled but still of interest. Her tail thumped against the cave floor as she watched her daughter. Candle had not expected their eyes to open so soon, but her delight was evident as she called for her mate to share in this milestone moment. RE: Do you see what I see? - Zoug - March 26, 2024 the opening of his daughter's eyes provoked the closest thing that zoug could wear as a smile.
so blurry they seemed, so unfocused. he gazed at her with rapt attention, surveying each detail of every pup with his single eye. he wished to already have had their naming ceremony, but it was better to wait. to — wait for all to be ready. he looked back at the pups. after this, he would think on their sacred animals. each child of the desert would have a guiding creature. they would show themselves as time went on. he was full of fatherly pride; arranging; thinking ahead; he looked to the toy and then the coyote children. RE: Do you see what I see? - Gaara - March 30, 2024 Covered in deep reds and grays, Gaara looked much like one sibling to the next. There was no question of their relation and as Gaara's baby blues opened, he came to be familiar with others of this color. Then, there was father. Red and gray too yet, far less dark then he, his siblings and his mother. There was an odd scent to him to. A scent of blood which was worn by him. Zoug stood out from the rest of the family and so, had gathered Gaara's interest, which came with grumbles and an outstretched limb, pawing at the air and stomping the ground as he woofed and grumbled. RE: Do you see what I see? - Ebra - April 04, 2024 Ebra scented her before seeing her blurry figure come into view. Milk-giver. Mother. Tail wagging excitedly at the attention, her bottom wiggled off balanced and she fell with a small squeak of frustration. She turned on herself, emitting a playful growl and snap of her teeth to her hind end as if to give it a tongue lashing. As soon as she felt her hind end would listen to her brain, she stood, again, and bowed. This time, Mother had placed an object before her. It was long, colors were muddle and blurred, but it looked FUN. She pawed at it—one, two, three times—for it to roll over and the movement startled her enough that she let out a little yip and tried to scurry away. Another fall, this time over her clumsy little paws. RE: Do you see what I see? - Candle - April 04, 2024 Editing bc I somehow missed Gaara's post oops
She was a curious girl, her Rainteller, but not a bold one. Candle reached out to roll the lizard tail back toward her, to show her that it would do no harm. There would be time to learn fear later, when the dangers of the desert made it necessity.Rainteller,Candle shared with her mate in a hushed voice, still watching her daughter to see if she would rise and try again. Their son, too, had opened his eyes, and reached for their father now. The priestess studied her children fondly. Her eyes flicked only briefly to Zoug. RE: Do you see what I see? - Brac - April 05, 2024 Brac would not open his eyes. Rather, he resigned himself to the darkness. For what if he looked? Perhaps he would see all the things he dreamt about, visions of colours and sunlight and worlds. Perhaps he would see all that was better. And perhaps he would not. Brac knew very little, yet felt the press of understanding that this world was not like the one he escaped to in his visions at night. Here, there was hunger and cold, but there, there was everything better. He wished to dream. So while his siblings looked out to the world about them, the Cavetreader caved inward and snuggled more tightly against his mother's side. Brac would not open his eyes. He slept again, and the visions came. Cameo unless someone wakes him/interacts with him!
RE: Do you see what I see? - Aylah - April 06, 2024 Life was good, she slept got love from her mother and father not that she hadn’t none the different apart from smell and food within wiggle distance and she couldn’t think of anything better. Probably cause she didn’t know anything else yet. She slept through all the commotion cuddling up to her sibling who was still asleep just as she was. Cameo as well unless woken though feel free to do so :)
RE: Do you see what I see? - Zoug - April 30, 2024 @Candle shall we fade or continue this?
"rainteller," he grunted with effort.
