kamitkaa ╪ - Kukutux - March 31, 2024

official return date for moonglow medicine camp + anyone who is tagging along + welcomes! optional replies, mostly for visibility <3 arrival dated for early morning march 24 tagging @Kyrell here to come along/join as they still have a thread in progress!

@Reina and @Tybault had gone home, taking the young ones with them. she bid them goodwill, sending kind words of fondness for reverie and her children. she bid @Rodyn and @Heph farewell, leaving six well-scraped caribou hides to be split between them.

as the moonglow wolves gathered, @Paeon was invited to travel with them back to the spine. @Faele was asked to decide what she would carry back. nasamiituuq kept close to her grandmother, and the duck moved here and there, inspecting what was to be taken and what would be left.

@Dutch and his party had not long ago hailed the moontide shores; she went to share greetings with he and his wolves, inviting @Sulukinak to travel toward the spine, either now or at another time; she had more to teach.

@Minnow and @Tuft she would bring as well, speaking gently to the young pair, watching the woman for any signs of illness that would need to be remedied before they set out.

their going was easy. their camps were made at evening and plucked up at dawn. if another joined them (@Iaghe) they would be welcomed. though kukutux meant to return home, her lessons did not need to end.

she called out at once for @Aiolos when they had come back, and @Kivaluk, and @Galana; her sons @Massaraq and @Arrluk and @Kassuq; @Ciri and @Ajei and @Peregrine and @Shikoba; she hugged vairë tightly, seeing that her daughter grew with life, and kissed chickadee's shy cheek to see the same.

life went on in moonglow, and the duck was overjoyed to be home.

RE: kamitkaa ╪ - Galana - March 31, 2024

they had returned! the stillness burst like a stream moving through ice after a long season. galana picked her head up from her dozing and her nails dug into the earth, springing her into motion. the trees flashed by her as she bounded through them with urgency.

the girl skidded to a halt upon seeing the moonwoman and many others. she impatiently waited for the greetings, moving through bodies to embrace kukutux.

"anaa!" she said through pants.

she'd grown bored, entertaining herself with the meetings of strangers and filling her heart with the fullness of offering aid. there was much she wanted to learn from the pale woman.

RE: kamitkaa ╪ - Aiolos - March 31, 2024

In the coming days Arrluk would be leaving his birthlands along side Ajei, towards the mountains of Moonspear where the foundations of the villages had hailed from. A family, one which Sialuk's blood ran through, that had once reigned supreme in the great bear wilderness.

Until then, Arrluk was rousing his father from rest when Kukutux's voice rang out over their low mountains. Arrluk remains moving in quick steps at his father's side, yet could not help but to rush forward and find a place next to @Galana to greet their mother.

Aiolos catches up and pauses as he watches the hustle and bustle. Old faces, new faces and what mattered most, his wife's face. He smiles deeply to her as the crowd flutters around her, so very happy she had finally made it back home.

RE: kamitkaa ╪ - Iaghe - April 07, 2024

tagging @Andr and @Fleurette for reference. <3

there had been some trepidation when she agreed to follow the moonwoman to her home, per her agreement to study under her -- at least for a time.

not only on her part, but she could feel the tension radiating off of andr as they drew ever near to the ring of low mountains.

it was another first. though she'd much preferred seeing him relaxed and free of burden for the first time.

the trio of seawolves seemed to gravitate to each other as they walked with the moonwolves, brushing and shadowing in silent reassurance. she kept particularly close to the he-wolf at her side, hoping that the occasional touch could bolster his spirit.

even with her nerves alight, iaghe could not deny that she was excited.

especially when they finally reached the borders and so many others burst forth, welcoming kukutux with joy and smiles.

the islander could not help but smile herself, tail picking up a slight wag at the infectious air of reunion.

the winterborne's pale gaze flitted to andr's, fleurette's. perhaps such a place as this would be good for them all.

RE: kamitkaa ╪ - Ciri - April 12, 2024

When Kukutux called to announce her return, Ciri went to her at once. Her stride was quick as her tail swung cheerfully behind her, sunflower eyes brightening to look upon the face of Moonglow's beloved leader.

She was home. She was where she belonged, and she deserved to rest.

RE: kamitkaa ╪ - Kyrell - April 20, 2024

The woodsman marched quietly with the moon wolves. Ears flicking forward as Kukutux's family, friends, and people arrived to greet her. He gave them their distance. Even if he was there to stay, it was their moment.

To see the warm welcome that the moonwoman received brought a smile to his face. Pleasantly uplifted, he could feel his hopes for his own future brighten.

RE: kamitkaa ╪ - Andr - April 27, 2024

Andr escorted Iaghe and Fleurette into Moonglow's borders, trailing behind the crowd. The trio remained close together, Andr standing guard between Iaghe and Fleur, like he was a protective umbrella over them.

He tried to appear at ease, but inside his hackles were raised and his heart thudded against his chest. His eyes looking over the gathering of wolves, his gaze lingering on the males that approached. They appeared docile enough but a voice in his head told him he knew better than to trust them outright.

Iaghe's gentle grazes against him were comforting as he glanced down at her and saw the wag of her tail. He'd agreed to this for her and Fleurette's sake, for their hazed minds and memories, which he knew he could not heal on his own.

He would try his best.
