The end of Kilgich Tatkiat marked almost three weeks of life for the little cloud girl. Her eyes had opened some days ago in the presence of her father, and the outside world was very exciting to investigate with her newfound vision.
But that night she sought not @Valiant's company, but @Vairë's, toddling past her sleeping sisters to flop at the mouth of the ulaq. Though too young to be aware of the drama that cloud water woman's return spelled for the village, Yuralria missed the presence of her mother in each brief absence.
From here she could see tiny pinpricks of light up above, and wondered if they could see her too.
