it truly was an honor, to walk among this palace. Ta-Sanet would always be home, but it would be a lie to say the mesa didn't hold more beauty in some ways. or perhaps it was simply due to the fact this place was new to him; a new landscape for his eyes to feast.
he had allowed himself the time with Rashepses to drink his fill. but that time it was past. now, the real work could begin. the purpose of his arrival could be fulfilled.
along the halls of the sandy palace he strode, muscles taut and shoulders firm with each new step. servants bustled, and Akhen moved with ease, weaving between as they tried their best not to cross paths with the kingsguard. anyone that stepped affront him would surely be trampled, even if not his intent. the man was an immovable boulder, and would not alter his course once it is set.
