stark settles into his role of mazoi with an ease because it is familiar at it's core despite being being different. he patrols the borders until it is routine and anyone of his pack mates knows that he can be found there dusk and dawn.
and he fills his nights and days with food and drink, knowledge and training.
routines were good, routines were comfortable.
he pauses on his way to the borders to take up a patrol, watching the sink of the sun along the sand crested horizon; content to steal those twenty minutes to himself before duty required his undivided attention.
