ipiqtusuutiqpak - Tautukpik - July 26, 2024 It didn't make any sense. Everyone around him had become so sad. They sang songs. The green light had become strong enough to make the sky the color of new grass. Tautukpik thought it was pretty but he didn't comprehend the meaning of all of this; not until his grandmother began the songs. Then he heard his father's voice calling, singing, and a weight descended upon Tautukpik. He looked for his anaa in the sleeping place, but she wasn't there. He looked for her in the sleeping place of the man that wasn't his father, and found it empty, except for that skin which Tautukpik had once torn. He took to the beaver pelt immediately, using his big feet to push at the torn edge, which had begun to curl in an ugly way. If anyone had taken notice, they'd find him at the back of Kannoyak's sleeping place, curled up in to a doughnut atop his mother's work. RE: ipiqtusuutiqpak - Kukutux - July 30, 2024 aiolos had gone to moonspear, and she felt as if her soul was halved even further.
but he could not be with her in this, nor she with him. they must find their own way through the loss of two daughters. her sun man would return when his heart was able to stop its weeping. she was glad he was not here to see her own. springjade eyes were filled with a new pain to see the son of ariadne asleep there. kukutux did not wake him. she padded into the ulaq and lay down nearby, silent in her own shared exhaustion. |
