Just 20 minutes - Raindrop - August 12, 2024
Raindrop had set forth from the den on this evening, the children put to bed from a hard day of play and learning. They were eating meat now, and growing so fast, with four months just around the corner. Had it really been that long? Time flew past with her loving husband beside her, through it all, and she hoped, with all her heart, that they would remain together for as long as this life willed.
Raindrop had set out to the shore, just as the last light was fading behind the horizon. It was beautiful, this place they called home. The sound of the ocean calming as it lapped gently upon the sand. It was just her tonight, and to be honest, it felt nice, peaceful. All mothers needed some time from the duties of motherhood, and this was her retreat of choice. She walked the beach, in quiet.
