Etienne had no set plan. And he didn't go far. He wasn't even sure where @Anselm was or why he left. It had been a surprise when @Druid had shared it and seemed entirely out of character. But perhaps Eti didn't know him like he thought he had.
Etienne was only a days travel from his sister. He never left her long. He told himself it was to search for herbs. But he knew he was lying to himself. It was for space to grieve a man he thought he knew. It was a way to feel like he was helping somehow.
He would take his sister something hearty from the Maplewood. Perhaps it would help her with her milk. And keep her full and satisfied he would do his best by Suzu.
