Let's blow a hole in this town - Mae - September 08, 2024

Referencing what we discussed in discord! No rush on this ofc <3
Prior to Akavir's departure from the creek and her own subsequent fading from its borders, Mae had found a steady hunting partner in @Cygnet. Yet she had not sought her since returning to the creek. Guilt, perhaps, for the fact that she hadn't said a word to the girl before disappearing.

It wasn't like they'd spoken a lot to begin with, though, Mae reasoned to herself as she set about finally tracking Cygnet down. It'd never been necessary. She hoped that would remain true now.

RE: Let's blow a hole in this town - Cygnet - September 15, 2024

Hunger made her gut gurgle. It seemed a never-ending cycle- hunt, eat, and then eventually get hungry enough to eat again, but the hunt had to come first. She did what she could to avoid pulling food from the caches, knowing she might eventually get caught for being a freeloader when there were -younger- children to be fed.

She hated not being the child. She detested the new children for taking her privilege away from her.

Mae drew little ire from her, and thus made an excellent hunting partner. She began to search for her packmate, only to find herself back-tracking when she caught Mae’s scent on the air.

She greeted Mae with several happy, hungry snaps of her jaws, and a brief wave of her short tail.
