the silver girl teeters along the edge of the territory. rebellious enough to travel so far away from safety but too scared to ever cross into what lies beyond the valley. that world was a terrifying place. even the valley is not safe from It.
still, adalynn wanted to see it. morbid curiosity and the paranoia of needing to make sure it truly is as bad as it is, or better than she had thought. she sits atop the tallest hill she found, and surveys the area.
