v. distort - Blue - September 25, 2024
In the middle of cleaning the salt and sand from her pale furs, Blue paused. There was a lump that hadn't been there before, just beneath her elbow. Agitated, she nosed it and chewed at it. Though it didn't hurt, it bothered her; as if something foreign had burrowed beneath her skin.
After a few moments she realized she was achieving nothing except a stinging redness to her skin. So she picked herself up and moved for the borders
