Live from the dance floor - Cygnet - September 27, 2024 set before the pack hunts!
Panacea? She'd scoffed at the suggestion that she travel with anyone- she didn't need an escort, nor did she need someone else to do the speaking for her. She could communicate perfectly well, and the message was relatively simple. It irked her that she would have someone with her, especially given the fact that she hadn't been paired with Mae, who would have been her companion if she'd been given the choice. It was the tone of loss in Akavir's voice that had steadied her, and kept her from arguing. Furthermore, they had been assigned to Kvarsheim. Cygnet did not smile, but she did receive the assignment with at least some amount of anticipation. She didn't like her partner (through no fault of his own- dislike was her default) but she did like the destination. She approached @Panacea on the day they were set to travel, grunted, and moved out. Teamwork had never been her forte, nor had smalltalk. The distance they needed to travel was easy, and she was keen to get there in a timely fashion, hoping privately that he might fall behind. She intended to ditch him at some point, anyway- so she might snag some time alone with Kristjan, for another spar. When they reached the borders she wasted no time in calling out for the leadership with a cry that was short but high- abrupt, as was her way. RE: Live from the dance floor - Panacea - September 27, 2024 Panacea wasn't the best with social cues; no orphan raised in a cult and cast out too young would be, he reasoned. Even so, he knew how to tell when someone didn't like him. So the trip was quiet. The pale-furred girl was quiet. He was — distinctly uncomfortable, and questioning Akavir's opinion of him now. What had he done to make the alpha hate him? Or maybe he was just a dick. Maybe he was sitting in his den cackling to himself right then. That had to be it. Either way, Panacea was mulling his own life decisions and contemplating the legality of cruel and unusual punishment in the Teekon Wilds (could he even find a good lawyer here? What if Akavir was related to the judge?) when the pair approached the borders. Cygnet was already calling for the leaders while Panacea was still trying to process the — were those rocks? Yes, big rocks. A big circle of big rocks. He blinked, finally realizing just how foggy he felt today. Fuck me. RE: Live from the dance floor - Ujurak - October 03, 2024 There were visitors to the stone circle yet again. Ujurak made to intercept them at their borders. Making note of the freshwater scent that arrived with them. Creek wolves? What was their purpose? He kept his gaze steadily up them as he approached. Moving with a quiet confidence that came from being within your own home. Hallo, I am Ujurak Loðbrók. You stand at the borders of Kvarsheim. Why do you call for leadership? RE: Live from the dance floor - Cygnet - October 17, 2024 Ujurak. Cygnet’s displeasure showed only with a defiant jut of her chin and a light sigh. She’d hoped that Kristjan might show up- it’d be easier for her ditch her sour-faced companion if the border guardian was the one she wanted to hang out with. This guy looked to be about the same age- and with some similar bone structure. She cut to the chase. You know of white-spit sickness? She asked abruptly, not bothering to lead with introductions. She barely waited for a response before she continued. Wolf get sick, bite others, sickness pass in spit, blood. Lead to death, death only. It’s around- was sent to warn you. There you have it, the TL;DR of what she believed Akavir wanted to explain. But more importantly: Where Kristjan? |
