Home from 'work' - Arlette - October 16, 2024

@Arric and Pups welcome

Arlette arrived at the site that was the homebase for the pups. Time moved so swiftly with the pups growing bigger and bigger each day. It was humbling to see how quick they were growing. Arlette was still very grateful for Swiftcurrent and their members. She needed all the help she could get, but the one that really stuck out to her was her mate. It was refreshing to see Arric pull his weight. She had not expected anything less from him. But she was very much aware that life could be rough. Luckily there weren't any doom scenarios in these four months. She always melted seeing him at the site with their four children. Gosh, it made her want so many more!

Arlette woofed in greeting as she came onto the scene. Her tail wagging. She showered all her children with the love their were asking to then move to her mate. She happily greeted him with just as much love she had. Sometimes it felt like it was overflowing. She showered him with little licks and cheeky nips before settling against him. How was your day?

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - October 18, 2024

Arric had been prone on the ground wrestling with all four of his children. And as such his fur was sticking up in places with puppy spit. There was dirt and sticks all over his dark fur. His eyes flashed and he smiled as Arlette met him swiftly with sweetness.

There's the most beautiful woman in the world. Guys closes your eyes I'm gonna smooch your mom.

He laughed. Arr she beat me to it.

He pulled her tighter with a long leg. We were just playing.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arlette - October 22, 2024

Three of his children? He has four! Hahaha

She came onto the scene, seeing her mate covered by their children. It was such a lovely sight to see. Arlette would cherish these moments. She was not grossed out by it at all. She walked towards them, clearly happily greeted by all of them.

Arlette had to chuckle. Arric was very adorable. She happily smooched him back, giving him all kinds of licks and kisses. Soon the children would also get that treatment. I saw, it looked like fun, she hummed. She then greeted all the kids as well. Glad to see you enjoying yourself, she chuckled. It was good to see them all so happy.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - October 22, 2024

Whoa woops. I edited it. I think I was trying to say at least three and say all lmao

Arric knew eventually these pups would be too big to cuddle him all over at the same time. Because unfortunately for their mom they were seeming to take after him. Which well served Akavir right. Now he would have an entire pack of behemoth's to deal with. And if they were charming as their dad, even better.

Always do. Don't we!

He laughed and pawed at one of the pups. And then looked up. So what are you up too today lovebug?

RE: Home from 'work' - Arlette - October 28, 2024

Arlette had to smile. Yes, I do not expect anything less, she hummed proudly. Honestly she was so grateful with Arric as a mate. The pups seemed to agree with his words, to them life was all about play right now. She settled down. I tended the gardens, and checked all our stashes for winter, she explained to him.

It was a little boring, she admitted to him. She then looked at the group. Should we do a little family excursion soon? Maybe show them the borders now that they start to wander more?

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - October 31, 2024

Arlette knew him so well. IT always gobsmacked him. How much she knew. And how truly godamned lucky he was. Because hell he was a lucky man. Now he just needed ot find someone to make his best buddy a lucky bastard too. But his personality left a lot to be desired. Looks, man was fine. Personality...eh.

HE listened ears perking up. And do we need anything? I bet Etienne would help or even Suzu or LEstan if we asked?

I'm absolute game. They seem to like the river and flowers....but Burdy he's afraid of logs....

RE: Home from 'work' - Arlette - November 04, 2024

Arlette shook her head. We have the basics thanks to the garden and the river, she assured him. Pukei was also busy with a garden of her own I believed. We got a lot of wolves skilled with plants which is actually quite nice since then I can focus on healing, she spoke. The plant side of things were more mandatory for her. She rather loved to heal and have all the ingredients.

Good, we will show them soon then, she hummed, leaning into him. Wait, why is he afraid of logs?

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - November 04, 2024

He listened closely. Truthfully he and Akavir had done well for themselves and the future generations of this pack. They did their best and it had bore fruit so to speak. Sometimes at the expense of one or both of the leaders dispositions. But They had done their best with what they were given.

He was glad there were more to help Arlette, knowing she preferred healing to gardening. He almost wished he had gotten in a few fights just so she could patch him up. But he also knew that with that would come her ire and he blanched at teh very thought.

He chuckled. He got himself stuck while being curious and Violet and I had to pull him out. It was harrowing for all involved. And I'll have you know I didn't even laugh once.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arlette - November 05, 2024

Arlette wondered if she should check on Burdock if he was alright. Maybe he had lingering pain from the whole thing. Though, maybe it was a kid thing and he would grow out of it. His life is going to be difficult if he stays afraid of them, she commented. She would ask him later about it.

It was cute of Violet to help, she smiled. She seems eager to explore, the mother noted. It seemed she was often exploring, also in places she shouldn't be. But for that she was a kid, and they would do such things. We should also plan a date, just for us two, she then hummed. I am pretty sure we have some wolves that could watch them.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - November 10, 2024

Burdock had seemed absolutely fine after teh whole ordeal. Truly. He had been hungry as soon as he had calmed himself down. A lot of which Arric was sure was just an act for attention. All four of their children got a little creative with ways to demand attention. Which eh he couldn't blame them. And besides it built creative thinking skills.

Arric chuckle. It was cute, also slightly stressful. I had to remind her we don't callother wolves fat. So I mean there's that. Then we raided a cache, there was almost a mutiny. because one wanted more than another. But. He shrugged broad shoulders then.

Akavir can watch them. I watched his all the time. Besides I'd like them to know him well.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arlette - November 11, 2024

Arlette chuckled softly. Violet called Burdock fat? Oh dear, she had to chuckle. While Violet was energetic and rambunctious, she was not mean. At least not in Arlette's eyes she wasn't. She figured she just called him that way because he was stuck. Very good solution, teach them emotional eating, Arlette teased Arric. She meant no harm by it. The pups were growing and always seemed to be hungry. So it was an easy solution to make things better.

I'm glad to hear that our kids have such an appetite, she chuckled. It meant they were healthy. A pup that didn't want to eat was something to worry about. We should give him at least some help. It is hardly possible to watch four on your own, she considered kindly. I like that too. I am pretty sure the kids do know him.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - November 12, 2024

He laughed and nodded his head. SHe did. I don't think she meant anything by it. He was stuck so in her mind he must be fat. Which I mean i get it. He's not, but I Get it. He shook his head, eyes dancing merrily.

Of course! Eat the pain kids. I'll teach them to meditate too.

Why i did it! He'll be fine, but maybe Pukei. HE studied his wife for an expression there. He knew that she had wanted to say sorry to the girl. But wasn't sure if she had yet.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arlette - November 13, 2024

Arlette chuckled. Luckily they could both see that it was just child logic and not something they needed to worry about. She was so glad that he was so involved though. Arlette couldn't help but even be more in love with him seeing him father. Arlette laughed and nosed him. You make me so happy, you know that? She was pretty sure he knew but she wanted to make it even clearer to him.

That is true, but if Akavir enjoys the experience he might want to watch them more often, she commented and raised a brow. Pukei would be good, she is very good with them.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - November 14, 2024

Arric had thought it was hilarious if he was honest. But he wasn't sure if Arlette would have found it as funny as him. he even had a hard time not laughing while they unstuck Burdi. he gave a soft snort of amusement and shook his head. The life of a dad. It made him extremely happy. And he could talk about their children all damn day.

LIkewise. I never thought I'd be this lucky. Not ever.

A small smile then, shy and boyish.

What are you talking about. Akavir will love it. Any chance to teach them dirty words and make them so hyper we can't handle them. What do you mean.

Arric looked around. There are no sugar cane plants around here right...

RE: Home from 'work' - Arlette - November 18, 2024

It was a tender moment, and Arlette would cherish it. She loved seeing Arric's shy smile appear from time to time. She shot a bigger smile back at him. She was confident in his love for him and it was nice to hear it from him he felt the same.

I forgot about the dirty words, she chuckled. Then she paused in thought. Not that I know of, she admitted. The female chuckled. She now wondered if she made a wrong decision to give Arric these ideas. But it might be good for the pups to have a moment with other members. It was probably going to be more normal as they grew older in age.

RE: Home from 'work' - Arric - November 19, 2024

There were some things about Arric that he didn't always say. One being that for all his bravado and his loud exuberance. He could be shy and unsure. That was from growing up with no social backdrop. And sort of learning as he went. He had done well, but he could have done better.

I'm not sure which of us is worse honestly. He chuckled then. He and Akavir were often using the language that they should definitely not be using around children, around children. But they were too stuck in their ways to change.

Thank god. We don't want him feeding them that. We'd never get them to sleep.
