see you again - Mzururaji - November 02, 2024 Mzururaji Morningside; the littlest bird. Smallest of her flock before, consisting of her mother and brothers. She did not know the whereabouts of her siblings. Their nest had been gently shaken from its tree, and their family was sent flying in their own directions. Mzururaji set out to reunite her family. Thus far she’d only found one. Mama! The steady disappearance of the Morningsides slowly carved a hole in the girl’s heart. Even still she felt the hollowness her brother’s absence created. But it did not hurt as much with @Minnow present now. Mzururaji smiled above mother. She buzzed with an energy that should not have been so prominent after a long day’s travel. I saw beasts in the fields—She prodded at her mother’s resting flank with urgency. —come look! RE: see you again - Minnow - November 03, 2024 Her pups father was still gone and after looking for him for a while the woman gave up and focused on the last pup she had in her care. She searched long time for the others and couldn’t find them either. She would not fail her daughter. Minnow smiled as she arose to go see what all the commotion was about. She remembered how it felt to be that young; excited about everything. RE: see you again - Mzururaji - November 04, 2024 Minnow rose from whatever rest she managed to get, much to Mzururaji’s delight. They'd both get their sleep later, she thought, but she simply had to show her discovery to her mother now! Oh, they're so amazing mama!Mzururaji’s rapidly fanning tail seemed to propel her through the dry grass. They're like deer, but– but— The girl turned on her heel to face Minnow, and rose to her hind legs. They're huge! This big!She could only raise her forelegs so high before her weight couldn't be balanced any longer, and the whelp went toppling down with a screech. |
