The Faerie Court (Under Moon) - Seelie - November 04, 2024
Seelie was a well-loved child; a girl who adored her sister @Sirimiri, who played merrily with her brother @Kitimat and welcomed Katmai warmly back into the fold. She'd never stopped clinging to @Simbelmyne's side, but now that @Dutch was home, the girl felt abruptly cut loose; joyed but adrift. Her mother was busy with her poor, hurt brother and her exhausted father.
It seemed prudent to stay out of the way. Seelie busied herself with quiet play at the shoreline, not quite realizing how far she was from the heart of Moontide's claim. The sea was her constant companion; she didn't even notice that she was all alone. Soothed by the steady sound of the water, the girl eventually fell asleep.
Nearly an hour had passed when Seelie was violently shaken awake. Her screams tore through Moontide — but Seelie and the strange wolf who had taken her would be out of sight by the time anyone arrived.
