You're Too Young For a Broken Mind - Kekoa - November 05, 2024

Kekoa was loyal to Sun Eater, he was obedient and polite. If he told him to jump, his response would simply be 'How High?'

The caribou man had recognized him for what he was; a man of the spirits. So now eyes wide, pupils dilated, he wandered next to the water.

His ears rung, his mind wandered. The world twisted and turned. This was simply how things needed to be.

RE: You're Too Young For a Broken Mind - Acheron - November 06, 2024

"Maybe I'll go find myself a wife," Acheron had smirked to @Cassius as he'd departed Broken Boulder, then turned away to hide his own embarrassment. He hadn't even had time to register the expression on his best friend's face. He wasn't sure he wanted to.

It wasn't a wife he dreamed of when the nights were cold, but Acheron had always kept that to himself. His thoughts turned sullen as he set out in search of — fuck it, why not a wife? His father wouldn't let him have anything else, he was sure. Certainly not Cassius.

Did Cassius even want him?

Agitated by his thoughts which would not be tamed, he snarled reflexively when his gaze caught on a wolf wandering oddly by the water's edge. As if influenced by something, some kind of godless filth he was sure. Acheron bristled but moved no further, golden eyes fixed sharply on the figure.

RE: You're Too Young For a Broken Mind - Kekoa - November 06, 2024

A sound cut through his haze, a snarl, a sign of aggression. Kekoa was far too skittish in his state not to react. He turned his head to the source of the sound. An unclear sight - shades of blonde and gold mixing together, mocking him, waiting for him to make something of them.

He would not tolerate such disrespect, not when he had come so far.

His stance tensing at his legs, the boy let out a growl. Eyes rabid, mouth nearly foaming, he was unaware of just how unkempt he appeared.

"I do not fear you."

His words were simple - a challenge, a clear statement.
