So Star, a member of Swiftcurrent Creek was missing? Her scent was growing stale, that was what Scimitar told him, and that he and the other wolf's job was to see if they could track her down and see if what she was doing, if she was alright. Seemed easy enough, but Raz would prefer to do it alone, feeling that anyone doing any missions with him would simply get in his way. Despite his battle hardened heart, merciless exterior, the Roman would prefer if there was as little bloodshed as possible. Knowing that each life was precious.

The silver male stopped by Duck Lake, sniffing the faint scent trail, it was fading and he could barely smell it now. Raziel waited by the edge of the lake, waiting for his partner, hoping he was a competent fighter because something told him there would be fights in this journey. Even if he wanted as little bloodshed as possible, Raziel still wouldn't hesitate to deliver the final finishing blow, he'd been taught that way after all.

RE: can you see the endless battles that plague us? - Saber - December 31, 2014

Saber had been alerted to the meet place where he and his partner were to join, and with a bark of greet, The tawny pelted man spoke to the silver company.

"Hello. I am Saber, Saber FrostFur. I do hope you've prepared yourself for this journey, friend."

The sentence was moreso a rhetorical question, however one with an open end, invade the silver male wanted his input known.
In the silent stride he had taken to reach Duck Lake, he hose the same manner to stand infront of his companion, anticipating his words.

Meanwhile, Saber pondered the journey, and steeled his wish against violence. The mix in his blood ensured his abilities in battles, yet it wasn't in him to want to cause battle. He was one who wasn't for violence unless it was mandatory.
Yet, retrieving a member of SC, wasn't that a good enough reason to use the very force he suppressed?

"Hello. I am Saber, Saber FrostFur. I do hope you've prepared yourself for this journey, friend." Raz dipped his head respectfully to the tawny male. "I'm Raziel, Raziel Aequorbein. But you can call me Raz." Usually, the Roman would say he was an Angelus Mortis, because that usually explained the trademark glint in his eye, but he had to be careful around Swiftcurrent Creek wolves. They might know Shadow's last name, and with that, he might be homeless.

Sniffing the scent trail, he began following it, twisting his head back to look at Saber, he called, "Shall we go? The scent trail might vanish soon," Perhaps it was not in his place to ask a higher rank to hurry, but a packmate might be in danger, and their first priority was to get her safely back, if she was in danger of course.

"Well met, Raziel."

With a glance the the scent marker, he did notice the variation of strength in it, and swiftly he agreed.

"Indeed. Let's move out."

Saber chose to walk ahead a bit, and scout further. Soon, the trail led them to the front of omnious shadow entrenched woods.
Did something further ahead, move? Because it sure as hell wasn't small .

Turning to the silver company, he spoke softly.

"I feel as though we are watched, but 49 paces ahead, is the pack border. If I may ask it of you, please watch my flank, make sure I too, do not get swept into this dark place. Star is not a wolf who would willingly go into the jaws of another, nor would I, but I'd like to think if I do get snatched, a fight will be won between the both of us."

And with that, Saber trotted forward to the void patterned trees, a place choked of light, and deprived of day. He knew he was being watched, but was unaware of it to be @Kadence .

The shadow had been watching the silver and tawny pair since they reached the start of the dark trees that loomed over Blackfeather. Her pawsteps fell light as falling feathers and her fur blended with the gloom. Since there were not one, but two wolves, winning a successful fight against them was near impossible. That was until she saw the tawny male move forward into the darkness and away from his partner. That was her chance.

If she could take him out, then it would be a one on one fight with the silver. And that was easy, depending on where his fighting skills lay. With elegant movements, the young assassin drifted closer to the tawny wolf who was no immersed in the shadows. She stopped and waited for a bit, watching and trying to gage the silver wolf's reaction.

Her eyes were fixed on the tawny wolf ahead of him with a powerful stare. Maybe she could spook him into giving up and leaving, that way she wouldn't have to put herself in a vulnerable position.
