Amalia had much to digest
But there was happiness ready for her. She briefly thought if moonspear. Unsure if she could stay there. But Killdeer would surely want to. His children were there.
And she was still new to all this. Best not to get ahead of herself. She jad meant it when she said she cared, But she needed to figure out how too.
Her parents though she loved them. They were not the greatest at showing you how to love another. And Alaric bless his soul he had demons. Big deep ones
So he was not a shining example. The few she had seen beyond that had simply fallen apart. Except maybe Maia and Eljay the king and queen of each other's hearts. She could strive for that comfortable love. She just had to figure out how to show it.
