Private whispers - Arlette - December 06, 2024 @Arric Set after the pack meeting
She had seen the looks on their children's faces, especially Violet. These were the moments she couldn't protect her from as a mother. She should know that the world wasn't only perfect. But the whole situation made her think. Once the pups were all knocked out she pulled Arric apart. Her red eyes looked up at him. Are you going to fight?,she asked him. She understood that he might need to go to protect them. Do you have a plan for all of this? The kids will probably ask questions as well, she spoke, now hesitant on the best course of action. I understand if you need to go and fight, or stand by Akavir's side in the desert. I won't like it that your gone but I will be okay if you need to,she assured him. She glanced back at their sleeping pups. So big, but also still so young. I want to keep the children here, they are too young. I know Burdock might want to go with you, maybe Violet too. But I want us to be united in this decision. RE: Private whispers - Arric - December 06, 2024 Arric was just about to settle in for the night. When his wife motioned for him to follow her away from the babes. he should have known the pack meeting wouldn't have set well with her. It barely sat well with him. But he did not blame Akavir for wanting to do action. Though he probably wouldn't have gone to Akashingo's aid, not like this. MOre patrols a messenger maybe, but not himself personally going there. But perhaps there was more to it. He shook his head. Only if you want me too. I figured i'd stay here in case whoever these wolves are show up. I can't do much, but I can at least keep them occupied while you get the kids and others away if they should attack. But also perhaps we can handle it diplomatically if they show up. RE: Private whispers - Arlette - December 07, 2024 She knew that things would change, and that they would need to be more on guard. No. I'd rather have you stay. I just figured you might needed to go with Akavir, she offered. She looked a little more relieved at that. Where should I take them? Do we have a place to go?She didn't want to think about it but it might be good to talk about it. I don't like the idea of leaving you behind though, she muttered. I like that idea better, she admitted. But the pups, perhaps she should talk with Suzu and band together. Their pups could start to mingle more. It might be good if they are bonded. Better chance at survival. RE: Private whispers - Arric - December 08, 2024 Arric didn't know what was coming. 8f anything. But they did have to watch. Be careful. Not let many enter or leave. That would be the hardest for the pups and a few others who roamed. Kvarsheim but they are young and ifHe shook hhis head making that thought scatter. He spoke again. or there is the pack in the mountains Moonglow. They are allies of moontide. It's where Mae is. They seem to be good wolves. They would take you in until I could get to you., Arric smiled and dipped his head to rest his face near hers. A lick between her eyes. The equivalent of a forehead kiss. I know. I'd hate it too. But I'd hate it more if something happened to you or our children. I promise despite it goes against my deeper nature. I will try to be a diplomat first if they should arrive. RE: Private whispers - Arlette - December 11, 2024 Arlette frowned at that. She did not see herself leaving unless it was absolutely needed. Moonglow would feel too far away, she spoke, especially if she had four pups in tow. Kvarsheim.... It is at Stone Circle. I was born there. My mom-- I can't go there, she shook her head. It would feel too strange to go to your childhood home that was no longer yours or in your family. Still, if there was an emergency she might not have a choice. She smiled softly at the little lick, almost as if he licked her frown away. We need to make more allies if this war is going to be a thing, she stated. But she knew Arric and even Akavir could be stand off ish or come across that way. Good, I can be there too,she offered. Do you think Bearclaw Valley would take me in?,she asked curious. Frederick had his love there, but well... she had send her away. It felt complicated however they were neutral towards each other, she felt like. RE: Private whispers - Arric - December 17, 2024 He could understand, but Moonglow felt Like a good option. The distance was what they wanted if this should come to pass. But he understood why. The young wolves there seemed not to have any relation with Arlettes family or name. But they were young and their father taken too soon. He nodded. Probably Ameline seemed to like you. RE: Private whispers - Arlette - December 19, 2024 Arlette would keep it in the back of her mind. The female hoped that none of this was needed in the end. It all sounded serious. Arlette nodded. Yes, but I also don't know if they still like me after I told Fredrick and his girlfriend to get out of our territory. Then again, I didn't injure them or anything, she muttered. She quirked up her lip because Arric had been right behind her in that moment. RE: Private whispers - Arric - December 25, 2024 Arric frowned at her words. Why would they be upset about that? The girl had been in the territory without permission. So he didn't see anything wrong with that. He looked over his wife a small smile curling around his maw. And you were glorious. He shifted a more serious note in his tone. I don't know how they could call themselves leaders and not understand neither she nor frederick asked for permission. Would you like me to go speak with them? Though this is his error. And hers. We can speak to the leaders anyway? He had not wanted to but into the moment for his wife. She had done well. |
